Cat Deeley presents the search for Britain's favourite dancer. Nigel Lythgoe and Arlene Phillips are on the judging panel as contestants are challenged each week to master different styles of dance. Nigel Lythgoe returns to British shores to find the nation's hottest dancing talent on BBC One with the award-winning So You Think You Can Dance. Dancers from all disciplines, both amateur and professional, were invited to participate in nation-wide auditions which took place during October 2009. The series winner will receive a cash prize of £100,000 plus a once-in-a-lifetime chance to dance in Hollywood on the US version of the show.

The show, based on creator Adam Green's real life and set in his small hometown of Holliston, MA, follows the lives of Adam and Joe, two friends chasing the dream of becoming successful horror movie filmmakers while struggling to make ends meet and dealing with life and the opposite sex in their post-college jobs at a Boston area cable access station where they also host a late night movie program called "The Movie Crypt." The core ensemble is rounded out by Joe's girlfriend Laura (a morbid yet adorable aspiring artist) and Adam's ex-girlfriend and the greatest heartbreak of his life Corri (a gorgeous nurse and aspiring country singer).
